Hayden Receives ABC’s “Safety Training and Evaluation Process” Program Silver Award
June, 2010 (Hazleton, PA) - The Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. recently awarded Silver status to Hayden Electric. “STEP was created in 1989 by the ABC National Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) Committee to recognize ABC member companies with exceptional safety records. This program provides ABC contractor members with a consistent, effective tool to evaluate safety training programs by using 20 standard “key components” of safety. Each key component focuses on specific safety and training areas essential to a successful, effective safety training program.” as stated on the ABC website. John Tabor, safety manager for Hayden Electric, will attend the ABC Awards Banquet being held this month at the America on Wheels Transportation Museum in Allentown, PA.
