November 1, 2010 (Hazleton, PA) George J. Hayden, Inc., held a 6 day in-house solar training for 12 technicians and managers. This course covered the basic fundamentals in the design, installation and assessment of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for the use in residential and commercial applications. The course included the use of industry standard tools and techniques used in t the installation of photovoltaic systems including the panels, inverters and system components to make a complete installation of the system. All aspects of the course were taught including mechanical and electrical integration in accordance with all applicable National Electrical Codes. The course was taught by Kairi Purnell, People Tech, Inc., in conjunction with the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. Training center. The following completed the training: George F. Hayden, Greg Kurtz, Phil Edson, Sean Heidecker, Steve Delman, Will Dagostin, Matt Crego, Larry Pecora, Eric VanBlargan, Nick Gaughan, David Kokinda and Zach Freed.
